Sober Living Homes mainly focuses on a very strict set of guidelines and rules that the residents has to follow, and generally most of these programs require random drug screens and alcohol tests. These tests make a way for the integrity of the sober living programs to be protected and make sure that one resident who relapses does not negatively affect the other residents in the program. No doubt that sober living programs do have a cost involved. These programs usually involve a small community in one residence, and each resident is expected to pay for their share of the expenses.
